Akhir-akhir ini saya sering mendapati masalah pada layanan Google Mail (gmail) seperti terlihat pada gambar di atas, padahal hampir semua aktivitas ngenet saya lakukan memakai gmail. Biasanya kalau sedang asyik GTalk (Google Talk) — layanan gmail yang mirip Yahoo Mesenger (YM) — percakapan tiba-tiba terputus tanpa sebab yang jelas. Kadang juga ketika mengirim email, arsip email terkirim (sent email) tidak nampak, tapi email ternyata sampai ke tujuan.

Dengar-dengar katanya layanan gmail memang sedang bermasalah akibat aktivasi firebug di PC kita. Sehingga biasanya terjadi konflik yang berakhir pada pengumuman seperti ini:

Agak lama baru bisa menyempatkan diri menulis lanjutan postingan saya dahulu, Dunia Blog dan Internet Marketing (Bagian I). Banyak kesibukan baru menyusul mulai aktif dan berkembangnya Articles Trade - Buy and Sell Articles yang saya bangun sejak satu setangah bulan lalu. Setidaknya, dengan beberapa hal tersebut, saya secara pribadi juga semakin yakin akan besarnya potensi pasar dunia blog dan internet marketing saat ini, juga pada masa mendatang.

Sebagai perbandingan, bulan Juli lalu saya bisa mengumpulkan sekitar $6000 USD dari berbagai program yang saya tekuni selama ini, termasuk Project Wonderful yang kemarin saya sempat posting. Saat menulis postingan ini, saya juga mendapatkan notifikasi email tentang pembayaran LinkWorth sebesar $361,68 USD untuk Juli 2008. Syukurlah, tinggal menanti bayaran dari SponsoredReviews sejumlah $460 USD tanggal 12 nanti.

Mematok angka pendapatan tetap memang agak susah dalam dunia internet marketing, sebab semua pendapatan sesungguhnya amat subjektif. Kadang kala jika pasar lagi menggeliat, maka pendapatan pun bisa juga meningkat. Sebaliknya jika pasaran sepi, maka pendapatan pun bahkan bisa sampai titik nadir. Semuanya tergantung usaha, usaha dan usaha kita.

Yang jelas bahwa, jika kita memang benar-benar punya niat dan keseriusan menggeluti internet marketing (dengan berbagai bentuknya), maka Insya Allah kita akan menuai hasil juga. Saya pikir hal ini pun berlaku sama untuk semua bidang kehidupan. Kita hanya akan mendapatkan sesuai dengan yang kita niatkan. Jika dibekali dengan kerja keras dan kesungguhan, semua pasti bisa kita lalui. Karena itu, jangan pernah berpikir akan bisa menghasilkan banyak hal dari internet marketing tanpa melakukan pengorbanan dan kerja keras. Memang banyak jalan yang bisa dipilih, tetapi jalan yang berasal dari ikhtiar yang serius akan lebih bertahan lama dan dapat diandalkan sebagai tunjangan hidup masa depan.

Membayangkan hidup dari internet memang seperti sesuatu yang sedikit absurd. Itu pandangan saya secara personal beberapa waktu lalu. Tetapi dengan terbukanya wawasan dan peluang yang ada, maka hal itu sebenarnya bukan lagi sesuatu yang bisa diragukan. Terbukti banyak blogger yang kemudian benar-benar total menjadi profesional sebagai blogger dan hidup secara layak dari aktifitas ngeblog-nya. Bagaimana dengan Anda?

Hal yang paling pertama yang perlu disiapkan sebelum benar-benar terjun dalam dunia internet marketing adalah kesungguhan dan tekad yang betul-betul dilandasi keinginan untuk belajar dan menjadi lebih baik. Tanpa modal ini, kita akan banyak menemui halangan dan rintangan dalam perjalanan nantinya.
